Alright, I'll admit that when the iPad came out I wasn't a huge fan... in fact, I actually did just about anything to avoid buying the sexy, sleek, incredibly designed hunk of metal.
I take that back. I really wanted to buy it after I saw how it could integrate into everyday life (and be better for business than I ever imagined). I download books (and am reading more than ever before), keep up with twitter, and have an easier time reading during my quiet times in the morning. I'll admit that I was not a huge reader until technology stepped in and somehow dazzled me with the pretty lights (what can I say, I'm easily amused).
Well, one of the things that is now a daily read has become the Flipboard app. Seriously, if you have an iPad you will absolutely want this app 'cause it organizes just about everything you would keep tabs on (at least socially and casual web surfing) all in one place.
As a result of reading with this brilliant piece of technology, I have many different things that I would like to share via the blog, twitter, facebook... you name it, but instead of posting over and over all the little things that peak my interest, I'll just be posting a few select "finds/inspirations" on a weekly basis. How's that sound?
To get things going I'll post an inspiration from the other day... (this is from the "Dieline" blog... one of the feeds that you can get within the Flipboard app ). I thought that the packaging was absolutely brilliant.
There is one little issue that I am struggling with though... I can't find a creative name for the "weekly find", so here's where you come in. Leave a comment in the "comment" section below with your idea for the name and I'll pick the winner from that grouping. Just as an FYI, I'll post my "find" on either a Tuesday or Thursday afternoon, so if it can somehow tie into that it would be great, but it's not necessary.

We enjoyed a relaxing Fourth of July weekend, and I hope that all of you did as well. The weather was absolutely perfect here and made for an incredible day of relaxing, grilling, and catching up with old and new neighbors alike.
We began our day with a quick dip in the pool and since our little guy seems to be a bit more fair skinned, we opted for a summer hat before jumping in... he seemed to enjoy the new accessory. :) I am so thankful for my family and feel so blessed to be able to capture moments like this in our little guy's life.

It's been a while since I've shown any photos of our little guy... (I know, I know) but I had a little time with him this afternoon and thought I'd share one of the photos. Why am I posting this? Well, to be honest I'm not totally sure, except for the fact that I just love being a father and wanted to show our little guy off to the rest of the blogosphere.
